Instructor of the Month! June 2014

Anderson Fernandes has been a member of our Continuing Education family since the fall of 2011 and is an amazing asset to our team! He teaches Introduction to Java, Introduction to Linux, Web Design and College of Kid classes.

We asked Anderson a few quick questions to get to know him better:
What is your favorite part about teaching? Sharing my knowledge with other people.

What would you name the autobiography of your life? Never Stop Improving

What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod? “Loco,” by Enrique Iglesias and Romeo Santos
What is your favorite form of exercise? Swimming

What’s your current favorite TV show/Movie? Big Bang Theory

What is something you learned in the last week?  Don’t say the game is over before it really is.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? I enjoy to read online articles or check out my Twitter.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Superman

What advice do you have for new instructors of Continuing Education? There is no way to know if you are going to teach everything you want in a class period. Plan ahead and fill up some time with practice assignments for the students.
